Light Seer (Upright): planning your future, making progress, activation, possibilities, the choice between your comfort zone and new adventures, leaving home

Shadow Seer (Reversed): insecurity about the future, the fear of taking the next step, feeling stuck in your past, feeling worried about your abilities

She sits in the same window, looking out over the endless possibilities that could be. The twos often hold a choice, a duality: should she stay or should she go? With her fiery passion to travel and to experience the mysteries of the ocean, she imagines how things could be for her future. She watches as others bring their dreams to life, and she feels like she’s watching life happen instead of experiencing it. What would change if she took the chance on this dream? Could she really bring this idea to fruition? One wand points outwards to the horizon with a definite yes. It reminds her that you only live once, ‘YOLO, sweet light… life is yours for the taking and if you want that thing, you’ll need to go for it.’ The other wand, tucked happily into the corner, sits comfortably in its place. Cozy. Secure. It likes consistency. It already knows what it’s like here, and thinks they could be contented here, forever. ‘It would be so easy to just…. stay.’

You need to make a choice – to really do that thing you want to do, or not. Sometimes there are ups and downs and unexpected bumps in the road, but there’s nothing better to mitigate those bumps than an honest-to-goodness plan and some inspired action. You can dream it and envision it, or you can begin to live it. It’s time to explore options, discover what’s available to you and outline the steps to make it happen!

Planning and imagining alone – without taking action – can have us feeling like the observers of a dream, and your half -steps are sending mixed signals to the Universe. It’s time to leave the nest and claim your future. Learn that thing. Sign up for that program. Make that move. Sometimes this card indicates a choice needs to be made about partnering up, or not. Use the fire energy of the wands to bee-line it towards your goal. Non-action won’t get you there, and will likely have you feeling the angst of dreaming the dream instead of walking the talk.

If you’re feeling stuck, it could be the energy of your ‘comfort zone’ that’s got you there. The fear of the unknown can be riddled with insecurities, so take a deep breath because change can be scary. We cannot expand when we play it overly safe, settled into the corner with no room for growth. If the excitement of adventure outweighs your fear, then it’s time to initiate your shift and take strides towards your future. You’ve outgrown your complacency, sweet dreamer.

• Should you stay or should you go? How badly do you want this dream?
• What lies just beyond your comfort zone that would improve your situation?
• It may be time to weigh the life you have and the life you want to have. Sometimes, we tend to think the grass is greener in someone else’s pasture, when it’s actually not. Are you romanticizing the future? Or do you understand the future you are planning, with a clear picture of where you’re headed and what’s to come?
